Business owners have much more to worry about than dealing with the aftermath of Break & Enter. The black market demand for computer equipment, software, telephone systems, tools, etc. has never been greater, and in many business areas the crime rate has reached near epidemic proportions. The best way of reducing property loss is to install a monitored alarm system. Security systems reduce crime in commercial settings. Businesses without alarm systems are more likely to be burglarized than those that have an alarm system. Many uncompleted burglaries can be credited to an audible alarm. By covering doors and windows with sensors and posting clearly visible security "warning decals" you will greatly reduce the chances of a break in.

CCTV

Closed circuit television surveillance is an increasing feature of our daily lives. Its deployment is commonplace in a variety of areas to which members of the public have free access.

We are all likely to be caught on camera whilst going about everyday lives and the images relayed back to a control room.
The average person on the street is happy knowing that their safety and well being are covered by the cameras on the street corner, shopping center or car park.

CCTV can only be part of an integrated approach to problems, where it can be a very effective mean of crime prevention and detection, as well as crime reduction.

CCTV is not just used for problems and the `bad` side of society. CCTV is used for many `good` things, such as reunite children and parents or grandparents that have become seperated in the town centre; helping visitors find their cars in car parks; updating local radio with news about traffic flow and car parks; assisting with emergencies or other special events, and helping with the strange occurrences that happen for time to time.

Access Control

The reason we need access control:

One of the biggest advantages of an electronic access control system is the ability to document and report access activity. Most small single door applications have reporting available either through a printer or through web-based access that shows an audit trail of door access activity. Mid-range and large-scale systems can provide in depth, user-defined reporting of access activity. This is a critical component to the access system in the eyes of your client, helping them to quickly understand who had access to critical areas of their business before and after an incident.

For most companies managing keys is a problem. Keys are easily lost or duplicated, and terminated employees often do not return keys. If however, an employee leaves the company without returning their access badge, the employer can easily delete that former employee’s access. On a networked system, that access can even be changed remotely.
